What time does the event start and end?
Event Opens: 19:00 CEST
Formal Program: 19:30 CEST
End: 22:00 CEST

What technology do I need to participate in this event?
You will only need a standard browser to be part of this, we highly recommend Google Chrome even if you are on a Mac Device. Update your browser and settings in advance to avoid troubleshooting.
Who should attend?
We are looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their ideas and learning about others. Apart from our speakers, the energy that the audience brings is what makes our events special. We hope to bring together a diverse group of people with different fields of expertise, of all genders and backgrounds.
Why do I have to register?
To ensure your spot at TEDxBasel 2021! Most of the information helps us ensure that we best serve our audience. Your information is kept confidential and is used for internal purposes only.
Why do I have to supply an address?
We are planning this year on mailing you our chosen Adam Brant’s book, Think Again before our event, to those residing in Switzerland. It is optional and you can decide. Since full-time home office is implemented in many companies due to COVID-19, we will not send the book to company addresses or international addresses as you may not be able to obtain it in time.
How many people will be able to attend TEDxBasel 2021?
There are up to 1000 available places.
What if I do not get a confirmation email?
All completed registration will lead to an email from Hopin. If you have not received a confirmation email after registering, this may mean:
Check your spam folder
Checkout was not completed via the Hopin link
Information was entered incorrectly in the Hopin registration link

Can I register TEDxBasel 2021 on the day of the event?
Yes, if the event is not sold out. However, when you register up to 7 days before the event, you won’t be able to receive your TEDxBasel Book in time.
How can I get involved? Do you need volunteers?
We love volunteers and you are welcome to register your interest for up coming events via our volunteer sign up form here.
What language is the event in?
While all speakers are given the choice to speak in the local languages, due to the fact that their idea will have a greater impact when shared internationally, most choose to speak in English. This year's event will be in English.
When will the speaker lineup be released?
Leading up to the event speakers will be announced.
