Anita Riecher-Rössler

Anita Riecher-Rössler is Professor emerita of Psychiatry at the University of Basel, Switzerland. She has specialised in psychiatry, psychotherapy/psychoanalysis, consultation/liaison psychiatry and gerontopsychiatry. In 1998, she was the first woman to be appointed to a full chair for psychiatry in a German-speaking country. Her research interests include gender differences in mental disorders, and mental disorders in women. Currently she is Editor-in-Chief of the “Archives of Women’s Mental Health”. Anita is a mother of twins and loves gardening, rowing, hiking, cycling and traveling.

Stephanie Pearson

Stephanie is a teacher, activist, and author with a passion for implementing changes within equality through her involvement with the modern day civil rights movement. She founded The Black Education Project Limited, which provides teaching materials for schools to assist them with incorporating Black History into their classrooms while still meeting the National Curriculum objectives. She has been teaching for 8 years ago and she released her debut collection, ‘Black: There Are No Rules in Poetry’, in October 2020.

Cinzia Donato

Cinzia Donato is a cancer biologist. In high school, she chose to study cancer biology when she realized “cancer acts like a domino; if you take the right piece away, you can stop the chain of command”. Cinzia was trained in biomedical biotechnology in Italy, her home country then, moved to the Netherlands to specialize in cancer and stem cells, and lastly to Switzerland where she completed her PhD at the University of Basel and published her work on the generation forces of cancer metastasis.

Rebecca Ivey

Rebecca is a behavioural scientist and a director at the World Economic Forum. She has spent over 10 years promoting new ideas and advocating for change in our economic systems with some of the most recognized leaders from business, government, civil society and academia. After living, studying and working in 5 countries and learning 3 new languages, she is passionate about understanding the role of culture and experimenting with three questions: How does change happen? How do leaders learn? And, how can we build a future together that people are included in and excited about, not afraid of?

Shravya Shetty

Shravya is a Director and an Engineering Lead at Google Health. In this role, she leads novel and impactful applications of machine learning to improve patient outcomes. Prior to her current role, she spent over a decade in other areas of research and applications of machine learning at scale in areas like open domain question answering, information retrieval, handwriting and fingerprint analysis.

She is passionate about building teams that impact Global Public Health by bringing out the best in every individual at the table. She is currently training and performing Improv Comedy with the world renowned Second City. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she has lived in Europe for 21 years, 9 of which have been in Basel, Switzerland.
