What time does the event start and end?
Start: 19:00
End: 22:00
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time to allow time to check COVID-19 certification.
The formal programme will finish by 21.00, following which, everyone is welcome to stay for the Apéro until 22.00
Who should attend?
We are looking for people who are passionate and enthusiastic about sharing their ideas and learning about others. Apart from our speakers, the energy that the audience brings is what makes our events special. We hope to bring together a diverse group of people with different fields of expertise, of all genders and backgrounds.

What are the COVID-19 measurements in place?
To support the safety of everyone onsite, we will only be allowing people into the event who are fully vaccinated and can prove this with the Swiss certificate pass (or EU recognised), or a negative PCR test 48 hrs before the event start time. We will be checking for proof upon arrival. As being fully vaccinated cannot fully protect you from catching or carrying COVID-19, we encourage you to take a rapid antigen test within the 48 hrs before the event start time. If you test positive, please do not come.
Why do I have to register?
To ensure your spot at TEDxBaselWomen 2021! Most of the information helps us ensure that we best serve our audience. In addition, we need to have contact information of all attendees in case there is a need for follow up communications regarding COVID-19. Your information is kept confidential and is used for internal purposes only.
Why do I have to supply an address?
We are planning on mailing you your name badge before the event, to those residing in Switzerland. It is optional and you can decide. The aim is to provide a shorter ‘check-in’ experience upon your arrival at UBS so you only have to show your COVID certificate upon arrival.
How many people will be able to attend TEDxBaselWomen 2021?
There are up to 175 available places.
What if I do not get a confirmation email?
All completed registration will lead to an email. If you have not received a confirmation email after registering, this may mean:
Checkout was not completed
Email was entered incorrectly

Can I register TEDxBaselWomen 2021 on the day of the event?
Yes, if the event is not sold out. However, when you register up to 3 days before the event, you won’t be able to receive your name badge beforehand.
What language is the event in?
This year's event will be in English.
When will the panel lineup be released?
Leading up to the event the panel will be announced.
Can children attend?
Yes. TEDxBaselWomen is open to anyone 13 and over. Children under 13 will not be allowed into the official TEDxBaselWomen area.
